While most of these sources are complete proteins, lentils and black beans aren't, so you'll need to combine them with rice, pasta or wraps in order to get a complete profile.
But with a combination of 2 or 3 of these foods you're highly likely to get between 40-50g of protein per meal to help build and repair our muscle tissues 💪🏽.

✨HOW DO YOU MEAL PREP IF YOU DON’T ENJOY LEFTOVERS?!✨ I received this question the other day and felt it was a great time to discuss this. Not enjoying leftovers is something I have heard from clients before. I personally LOVE leftovers. I love homemade food from the day before. I don’t even need to heat it up! I’ll eat it cold 😍. Often times though, we “don’t like” something more because of a mental barrier. If you swipe through, you’ll see how I get deeper into the “why not”. When it comes to eating healthy, it’s more than just taste buds. Many times it’s because how we were raised. Or maybe an incident that occurred at one point. It’s very important to dive deeper into the “why’s” of how we feel about food. If you are someone working towards a healthier lifestyle, but find yourself having obstacles because of taste buds, pre-conceived feelings or judgements, just know they can all be changed and overcome. Swipe through to read about “Reframing”. This is a concept I use all the time. How we think about things now can always be reframed in a way to help us think more positively about them in future. For example “meal prepping food doesn’t taste good.” This can be reframed by thinking “This meal prepped food is homemade and going to make me not just energized, but also help me reach my goals. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared one of my Choc Superfood Oatbowls with you all 🤩 Adding different colours to my bowls will always be so satisfying and rewarding 🌈 Who doesn’t wanna eat and live vibrantly? 🙈♥️ Happy Friday friends, off to an early yoga class this morning 🤸🏻‍♀️ What are you up to? ✨ •

RECIPE: - 1/2 cup rolled oats - 1 cup almond milk - 1 tbsp flax meal - 1 tsp chia seeds - 1 ripe banana - 2 tbsp cacao powder - 1 tsp maca powder, ground cinnamon, turmeric latte powder, spirulina powder - 1 tbsp goji berries - 3 walnuts, chopped 
Method: 
1. Combine oats, flax, chia, almond milk, and banana in a small pot and let soak. (Ideally for an hour or can be soaked the night before.) 2. Once soaked, turn heat to minimum. Place lid on pot and let it all cook low and slow for around 15-20 minutes. 
3. Stir and combine well. Keep on heat until your desired consistency. 
4. Take off heat and add in remaining ingredients, combining well. 
5. Transfer mixture to a bowl and add your favourite toppings 👌🏼 NOURISH YOURSELF friends ♥️ _______________________________________________________

Achtung lang.....😊
Es gab den Moment, als ich 12 Jahre alt war und vor Spiegel stand. 
Ich blickte mir in meine Augen, tiefer als gewöhnlich, länger als gewöhnlich. 
Ich schien, durch meine Augen tief hindurch zu schauen. In mich hinein... und mein Blick verlor sich. 
Ich fragte mich, wer da steht, wer schaut sich in die Augen, welche Augen sind das...meine Gedanken flogen über mir und sahen mich...
mich kleines blondes Mädchen ....
Ich sah mich, da stehen und sich in die fragenden Augen blicken. 
Meine Gedanken kreisten und ich weiß noch, wie ich mich zwingen musste, diese Gedanken wieder einzufangen. Wieder in mich zu kommen...
.....wieder "normal" zu denken. 
Ich musste mich regelrecht los reisen.

Das war damals der Moment, in dem ich das Gefühl verloren habe, ganz zu sein. 
Eins zu sein. 
Seit dem Moment, muss ich immer bewusst steuern, meinen Körper und meine Gedanken in Einklang zu halten. 
Ich wünsche mir so sehr, dass ich das eines Tages nicht mehr muss. Dass automatisch wieder ein Gefühl der Ganzheit da ist. Was ich dafür tue? Ich nehme war. Ich mache mir oft bewusst, wie konträr manchmal das ist, was mein Körper will und dass was mein Kopf sagt. Ich zwinge mich mich zu spürten. Bewegung, Wärme, bewusstes in mich hinein hören...... Ich lerne mich mehr und mehr wieder als ganze Person zu sehen und zu lieben. Anzunehmen!!!! Wir sind nun mal eins: weder nur ein Körper, noch nur die Gedanken...
Ich weiß dass dieses kleine Mädchen, damals vorm Spiegel, nichts falsch gemacht hat. Es möchte nur jetzt von mir, im Nachhinein in den Arm genommen werden....
Vielleicht könnt ihr daraus ja was mitnehmen... man kann eben weder nur in Gedanken existieren, noch sich nur um seinen Körper kümmern. 
DU bist EINS!!! So nun noch kurz zum Essen...das sind Kartoffel "gröstel" mit ein bisschen  Tofu ( dazu gibts was in der Story) und greeeeeeens 💚😉

2 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen blueberries 
1 cup fresh spinach 
1 scoop vegan vanilla wholefood protein
2 each of my fruit, veg and berry capsules (check previous posts for deets)
1/2 tsp spirulina 
1 cup coconut water 
1 tbsp natural peanut butter 
Dash of organic Ceylon cinnamon (tons of great health benefits in this one👈🏻)
1/2 tsp morninga powder 👅

Refeed Day was yesterday. 
I treated myself to homemade donut holes and pretzels. 🥨🍩 It means I got to eat some high glycemic, fast absorbing carbs yesterday to help replenish my glycogen so I can workout harder today for leg day. 
I was skeptical of this whole refeed day thing but I totally see a difference! Crazy difference in just one day! 😳😜 FYI- ignore the fingerprints on the mirror. 😂🙄

I treated myself to homemade donut holes and pretzels. 🥨🍩 It means I got to eat some high glycemic, fast absorbing carbs yesterday to help replenish my glycogen so I can workout harder today for leg day. If only I knew why I always get the urge to go back to Thailand 🇹🇭 🤦🏼‍♀️😅 looking through some pictures of my last trip there makes me crave the fresh, abundant food again 😍 
Eat the rainbow and ditch meat, dairy and eggs. It will help you, the planet and all the animals living on it with us. 
Livestock farming is responsible for about 91% of rainforest deforestation!! In short: Rainforest areas are used to grow produce that will feed animals to grow bigger, so they bring more flesh for humans to eat. Isn’t that fucked up? Such a big part of the world’s population is starving and western cultures stuff their mouths with “”foods”” that cause exactly that? 
Be kind. Make the connection. Go vegan 🙌🏻🙏

Starting to experiment a bit more on my own with these ☺️ the base is steamed cauliflower (I bought frozen), then I also used water to thin, agar agar to thicken, fresh banana to sweeten and butterfly pea flower powder from @just_blends for the colour 💙 the ones I've made previously were with dates, which makes it too sweet for me, I am quite sensitive to sweet stuff though so you might want to use some of that's what you like ☺️ if you like it creamier, plant yoghurts or avocado are good alternatives ✨ I really like the consistency of it, and how it's far less sweet (and far hotter which is perfect in winter) than nicecream 😍 don't get me wrong, I enjoy nicecream sometimes, but it's actually started to feel too sweet/rich for me 😅 what about you ☺️? Do you like nicecream, or sweet things in general 💫?

It's become more pronounced in me since going whole foods plant-based, but even before I've had a bit of problem with overly sweet/rich things. Even though I thought that I "should" like cake and candy as I child and thus ate them, I always felt so bad afterwards 😅 I'm so glad that I've come to listen to my body more now ☺️ I just feel generally more aware of things like that nowadays 😇 have you experienced something similar? What was you like when you were younger? And has it/how has it changed ☺️?
