5:20⏩6:20. Did you know that when you snooze, your body starts a a brand new sleep cycle all over again? 🛏 and your body goes into the deep sleep cycle stage right away? Then, when you feel groggy all day and like your exhausted, and didn’t get enough sleep, it’s because of snoozing, not because of actual lack of sleep (usually). I used to be convinced that sometimes I got “too much” sleep, and that was why I felt super tired...lol. I used to be the snooze QUEEN 👑 and lets be real, I still snooze sometimes. But I recently read an amazing book called the 5 second rule, which essentially has changed the snooze game for me. When my alarm goes off, I just count 5, 4, 3, 2, 1- and force myself to get up. It’s the most empowering thing, to be in control that early in the morning! I used to snooze until the last minute, and frantically get ready and be late always. Now, I wake up, spend time with God, take a few minutes to myself, get a good workout in with my morning wake up crew, sip on coffee, eat breakfast, get ready, and get to work on time. All because I am choosing to wake up on time. Imagine that 😉🙌🏼 HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!

Gestern ging es für  21,8km nach der Klausur nach draußen. Wahnsinn, wie flach es in #Düsseldorf ist, und wie bergig hier. Allerdings, die Höhenmeter machen mir persönlich mehr Spaß. Weniger Tempo, aber dennoch anstrengend und anspruchsvoll 😊 ... in der Tasche war übrigens eine neue #Asics Laufhose. Gestern getestet und für sehr gut befunden. Bild gibt es noch keins 😥 folgt. 😉

I did a REAL push up during my workout this afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, it was actually more than one REAL push-up!!!!!!!!
.
I was SUPER tired after work, did NOT want to work out, and had to seriously pep talk myself into it 🤨
.
And during the Burpee-push up move, I was thinking how hard it was to do the push up in between each burpee. It isn't usually that hard for me to do push-ups.

Um, yeah, because I always do them ON MY KNEES!!!!!!!!!!!

NOT TODAY though..........I realized it was so much harder than normal because I was doing actual, real push-ups. I have NEVER been able to do an actual, REAL push - up 👊

This may not be a big deal to some people, but it IS to me, especially after over a YEAR of working on getting stronger 😀😁😊☺️ #strongereveryday
