I've never been one to weigh myself in the morning because generally later in the day the scales are up, which makes me feel better. 😂This morning I thought I'd bite the bullet and have a peek. 47.85kg. I was quite happy to see this especially considering my lack of commitment to eating at a surplus lately. .

Training felt great this morning and it felt so damn good to look in the mirror and see some fullness again! .
.
I admit that stress can get the better of me and the first thing to change is my lack of calories. Time to push past it all and stick to what makes me happy regardless to the situation I'm dealing with. I'm quite an emotional person and often let things effect me more than they should. .
.
I've realised that it's important to remain consistent in all aspects of our lives, no matter what existing stresses we're dealing with.✌️💪

🍴雲林土雞高麗菜枸杞炊飯🍴
577大卡,54g碳水18g脂肪42g蛋白質
。
這次回嘉義家人給了我好多中藥材補身子~
這道料理沒有多添加其他的油
用雞皮本身的油去爆香蒜頭和薑與洋蔥~
加入了對身體很好的枸杞
所以米飯超香~冷天還可以暖身子
月經來的女生也超適合吃^^ 。
。
【食譜(三人份)】
🔸️兩斤土雞肉
🔸️高麗菜洗淨
🔸️枸杞子半杯
🔸️米210公克
🔸️醬油適量
🔸️鹽巴適量
🔸️蒜頭切片
🔸️薑切小片
🔸️味霖少許
【做法】
1.鍋子燒熱
2.放入雞皮
3.逼出油來後放入蒜頭、薑
4.爆香後再放入洋蔥丁
5.炒軟後放入土雞將表面炒過
6.加一匙醬油一起炒至表面微上色
起鍋
7.在電鍋理放入洗淨的米與胡蘿蔔絲
8.放上雞肉
9.灑上枸杞
10.最後覆蓋高麗菜
11.灑點鹽巴在加入兩匙醬油
12.加少許水
13.按下煮飯鈕
14.起鍋就完成囉!

1/3-2/3rds of those who go on a diet will regain MORE weight than when they started the diet in the first place.

How frustrating would that be? 🤦‍♂️ Most fail because they don’t have a plan for the diet after the diet. 
So before you start any diet or new way of eating ask yourself, “can I see myself eating this way 6 months from now, 2 years from now, for the rest of my life?” If the answer is “no” - you may want to reconsider your decision.

Find a way to enjoy your meals, look forward to them, and keep them fun. You don’t have to eat bland chicken & broccoli to see results. Get creative! If you don’t enjoy it, you’re not going to stick to it. And what’s not fun is not sustainable. 
Those who lose weight and keep it off are those who are diligent, patient, and have created good habits.

Every diet works for the same reason 👉🏼 it creates a calorie deficit. So while knowing this, why restrict yourself and feel miserable doing some extreme approach when you can keep in all of the foods you enjoy and have the same results? 🤔🤷‍♂️ And I’d argue even BETTER results as you’ll be able to be consistent and maintain your results because there will be no rebound after the diet is over. 6 pack abs 
Everybody always aspire to achieve them, myself included. 
The problem is we always go about it the wrong way. 
See my #abs probably look the best they ever have yet now they are the last thing that I think about or focus on.
See when you start out trying to get your #6pack you probably do 100s or 1,000s of crunches, sit ups, leg raises etc in an attempt to "tone" or "sculpt" your core right?
Well you see this is highly ineffective. 
So first thing we need to address.
You can't "tone" a muscle....
It's juts not a thing!
You can build muscle or you can burn fat. Now by doing a combination of these two your will be able to see your muscle definition and abs, achieving your so called "toned" look. But the act of toning isn't a thing.

Now that's out the way, let's talk about how we CAN actually get you your 6 pack abs.
1. Build up the muscles- by performing exercises in the 6-15 rep ranges. Not the 25-100 you've probably been doing trying to get those abs to burn. They are still a muscle tissue so you train them just like any other muscle group 
2. Second and most importantly you have to control your nutrition. Those memes that abs are made in the kitchen not the gym... yeah they actually true. Everyone has abs, just you also have a layer of fat covering them. Notice how really skinny guys with no muscle still have abs? It's all about low bodyfat percentage. 
So there you have it the key to abs is simple right. Control your diet & perform challenging ab exercises for lower reps.
BUT, it's not easy. Performing this task day in day out gets tiring, it takes a lot of consistency and motivation. That's when a coach can help with accountability.
Making sure your always moving in the right direction. 
Doing the right things.
Watching over you helping your through the tough times and keeping your spirits high.
Most of all making sure your succeed.

served over crispy toasted broccoli 🥦 {which michael cooked!} surprisingly not bad on the macros either, even with the sugary sauce. the best part of #flexibledieting is easily being able to work meals like this into my meal plan while making other pre-planned adjustments ahead of time.

Another good post by @pheasyque about leg press form. This might not be as big of an issue for those people who do quarter reps on the leg press since your body never really reaches the position where your lower back could come off the pad 😂. This applies to everyone else though (hopefully all of you who follow me 😁).

Although you should do full range of motion on the leg press, you want to make sure that your body stays attached to the pad throughout the movement. You do not want your lower back to round. I recommend holding onto the handles and focusing on pushing through your heels. Pushing through your toes not only takes emphasis off your quads but makes you more susceptible to back rounding.

Its effects on hormonal balances only function when the overwhelming hormonal shifts of pregnancy are not occurring. Cardiac toxicity – although it has not been shown as a direct cause of cardiac disease or death, plants with a similar genetic makeup to maca have been associated with cardiac toxicity, so for those potential users with heart issues, be sure to investigate the situation further and speak with a physician. 
Iodine content – certain types of maca have an unusually high level of iodine, which is naturally occurring and not dangerous unless it is added to a condition like a goiter, which can be inflamed by increased levels of iodine.
