"When you focus on the GOOD, the good gets BETTER" ... After 4 months of not doing yoga, my body felt like there was something missing. I havent been practicing yoga because my body was getting used to the routine and I felt like I wasnt burning that much calories compared to when I started doing yoga. So i tried new workouts like pilates, doing lots of cardio and lifting some weights. But today, my body was hinting me to be on my mat and do what i love doing best- YOGA. I was quite surprised to know that i could still do those advanced backbends and leg openers. I have to say my body is relatively stiffer now than before. But still, i am able to do those magical backbends that gives my spine a nice good 'ol stretch. I am going to incorporate yoga back into my routine again and shape my body, mind, and soul from the inside-out🙏

Antagonist Training ~Training two opposing muscle groups.

Ring row- horizontal pull movement which targets the back.

Ring push up-pressing movement which targets the chest.

Start with either movement and perform your target reps. Immediately follow the movement with the antagonist body part.

I had one of the best days ever! I even cheated a little with pizza which was made from fresh basil, pure plum tomatoes and fresh mozzarella! AMAZING. 
BUT BUT, I have to create immediate balance in my system when I indulge. It's just something I feel needs to be done. Also with my oncoming auto immune sickness- I have to have warming foods. While you would normally tell a properly functioning human to only have these warming herbs during certain seasons I am the opposite I need them all the time * for now * I made a complex warm tea. Above you will see all the spices used - toss it all into my pot and boil it really really well. Strain and pour. This is to cleanse my liver, create anti inflammatory healing, free my body of pain, aid in weight and dietary restrictions. JUST TO FEEL GOOD. 
Taste : its spiced, it's coconutty , it's slightly bitter , and it's unique/odd taste. You just get used to it. When your body needs healing believe me your body will adjust ⚡️

The purpose of this exercise is to target obliques. The weight being on only one side during this compound movement creates a contraction in the opposite side to improve for stability and control.

For those timid to try this overhead,  holding one dumbbell at your side will give a similar oblique activation.
