Update 2weeks waist training. My experience I do think it works with a proper diet & exercise. It's only been 2 weeks & already see a difference. How do I know? Because this waist trainer has 3 clips I started with the first I was even struggling to put it on & already on the last clip. (19 Feb ‘18, a day late again)

Yesterday was the 50th day of the year, and just as with the 100 days of summer countdown, I am no where close to where I wanted to or thought I would be by now. Hopefully things will be moving in the right direction from now on, now that I have recalculated my calories and macros for loss and not fat loss + muscle gain. So far so good, I dropped 900g last week, but as I have said previously, I have a 2-3kg fluctuating cycle, so I won’t get excited about this loss until in happens again and again, and again. Hopefully for another 15kg or so 😉

I did the walk for school pick up, 2.5km, then I headed to the gym with my main girl to test out an abs/butt/thigh program I wrote. I think it went well (I’m feeling it a bit today) and we had great fun doing it! 
I did not eat enough yesterday. I had planned to have an early dinner before the gym whilst hubby had our eldest at swimming, but bubba-man slept on me the entire time. Figured I’d just eat when I got home, but again the little one had other plans for me 🙄
B: soy latte
S: @thehealthymummy choc-mint power bar
L: tuna salad wrap and a few of my kid’s air fried chips, which he yelled at me for stealing! 😂
S: chocolate cake, plain banana smoothie, corn thins with butter and Vegemite. 
D: choc protein shake

I’m counting my #calories and other #macros by hand in my #thehealthymummy #gold notebook and in my Fitbit app. Is that overkill? Yeah, totally! Why do I do it? #fitbit only tells me a percentage for macros, not their actual value, I like to track that too. 
Now I’m going to go and cook the steak that I missed out on yesterday and enjoy that for lunch today!

HOW TO GET SHREDDED 🔥

You can get shredded in six easy steps. The formula is simple, but if you're not doing number 6, then you're stabbing yourself in the foot with a lightsaber.

Train to build muscle. You want to hold on to your muscle during your cut? Train to build muscle. Train each body part 2x per week. The first time, train for strength and mass to build dense Type II muscle fibers. The second time, train that muscle for size to hit those Type I muscle fibers. -
Eat in a caloric deficit with high protein. For Calories, BW (lbs) x 10-12 will work wonders. You want your protein to be at least 0.82g/lb (this is the minimum effective dose), but if you aim for 1g/lb per day, then you'll hit this minimum no problem.

Get your sleep (at least 7 hours per night) and if you're going to take supplements, creatine will help maintain your muscle and caffeine will help you burn more Calories per day.

After a killer leg session we had Chicken salad with a Thai inspired peanut butter and chilli dressing for tea.
